Aussies pay 'unheard of' bank fees

Australian households pay, on average, $1,000 every year in bank fees and charges. According to Fujitsu Consulting, Australian bank customers are paying hundreds of dollars more each year in bank fees than customers in the UK and US are. Martin North from Fujitsu says that Australian depositors and personal loans borrowers pay fees that customers in other countries have not heard of.
