According to the telegraph.co.uk, falling house prices in the UK are reigniting a boom in single households. The telegraph.co.uk reports that Lloyds TSB insurance has predicted that the number of single households will increase by almost two million by the year 2019.

Research among hundreds of adults found a growing number of under-35s wanted to live alone to have greater individual freedom and personal space.

In the City of London and Westminster, more than half of homes have just one resident. By 2019, it is predicted that two in every three homes in the City will be single dwellings.
