Australian business confidence improving

The NAB’s business survey for the December 2009 quarter showed that business confidence improved to a 15-year high as sales and profitability improved. This also led to a significant pick up in hiring. The main measure of business confidence rose 2 pts to 18 pts. Meanwhile, the measure of business conditions climbed 4 pts to 9 pts.
