A £3.75 million (AU$7.2 million) house overlooking the 18th green and the 1st tee of the Old Course in St Andrews, the home of golf, is about to go on sale, according to a report in the UK Telegraph.

No 9 The Links in St Andrews is one of only four houses with The Links as an address and has one of the most sought after viewing terraces for golf fans around the world. The house is just about to be launched by Savills, in time for the lucky buyer to move in by next July, when the Open Championship will be held on the golf course that is reputed to be the oldest in the world.
