UK houses values rise

UK house prices have risen for the first time in 17 months.

According to London's government agency the Land Registry, the average price of a home in England and Wales increased by 0.1% in June 2009, the first gain since January 2008, to £153,046 (AU$303,812). Values in London rose 2%.
